Comments:	There is no mention of a "time line" in the movie. sliders meets stargate: any bad episode of either the main characters are all bad pretty boy actors. you won't know the name of one character when the movie is over- not one name. nice looking panavision film and lighting. the "making of" special features on the dvd are more entertaining then the movie- they should have released that instead. This is an example of studio "group think" a real challenger disaster. .

Comments:	I read the book about 2 years ago and loved it. Crichton's story is really strong and you imagine the places he takes you. I couldn't wait to see the film - thought it would be a fantastic story to adapt. well i saw it last night and i now wish i hadn't. girls - the eye candy is great (walker) and the only thing that kept me watching until the end. read the book after you have seen the film - if you do it the other way round you will probably end up disapointed like me! .
