Excellent! I was hesitant to see this remake - the original was so well done but this one is closer to the book and well done in it's own quirky way. Johnny Depp was absolutely incredible.

This version stuck closer to the original STORY, but wasn't nearly as FUN as the first movie. Also, I'm not sure I liked the 'darker' character that Johhny Depp was playing. He's such a good character actor and I think this time he went a little TOOO deep, even for Depp...

It always amazes me as to how Johnny Depp can put on such a different face with each movie that he stars. This was funny, sweet and just. The good kid was rewarded and even helped to heal Willy Wonka. I loved this show...even if my 4yr old granddaughter did fall asleep on my lap.
