I thoroughly enjoyed the plot of this inspirational movie based on a true life story. I watched this movie several times, because of it shows strength and stamina of coaches that are often influences to the players, especially to portray minorities roles in a positive way. Excellent movie!

Being a devoted Sam Jackson fan, this was a must-see for me. I was kind of disappointed, the acting was fine but the pacing and the script were the problems.

Sam the man makes this story worth watching. A few of the plotlines not about Carter seem less interesting and more like a Life Time channel movie. Jackson takes this movie from a 3 to a 4 star rating just on his screen presence alone. The movie also has a great message even though it is one we have seen before.

Samuel L. Jackson gave a great performace it was a moving movie. Liked the fact it was based on a true story. I'll add it to my collection when it comes out of dvd.
