This film is highly entertaining even for those who are not interested in the game of golf. The acting was excellent; it was a very well cast production. Shia LeBoeuf is doing very well in his transition into adulthood with this film. The costuming was the best I saw this year. The set design was wonderful and the storytelling of the issues of caste and privlidge was at moments heartbreaking and enlightening. The fact that this is a Disney film is astounding. Well done, Bill Paxton on this directing effort. Wherever he is, I am sure Frances Ouimet is smiling.

Even if you don't like golf ya gotta like this movie. The story is trully captivating, and the way it is told is even better. If this was Bill Paxtons first Directorial then Wow is he gonna be a good one.Great story and a greater game.
