LOVED IT !!! one of the best ROMANTIC movies of all times. Keira was amazing but the movie belonged to dark hair blue eyed MATTHEW MACFADYEN.

Well, I was little biased having seen the A&E 6 hour version (which is still the best one to see ever, Colin Firth and Julia Swahally - not sure of the spelling - are the perfect Darcy and Lizzie) but they did a very good job condensing it into 2. Still witty and romantic with excellent portrayals by the actors. A magnificent story that will last through the years as one of the best!

My wife and I picked this movie only because it had the shortest wait to the next show. What a gem it turned out to be. I was swept into it from start to finish. The script was clever and full of real wit. The directing was brilliant; the acting superb. These were characters I found myself not only being amused by often, but also caring about deeply throughout. I give it my highest rating! If you enjoy an old-fashioned well-crafted romance, you will love this movie!
