If your a big fan of the old show and expect to see a faithful Duke movie this isnt it. If your looking for big laughs this isnt it. If your looking for a mindless romp with little laughs scattered through out and dont care about the old show then The Dukes might bring you some fun. I grew up on the tv show and it was pretty lame not to get to hear rosco's silly laugh. Actually Rosco was comic relief in the tv show here hes misused as typical bad guy muscle. Im sorry but I want my Boss Hog fat! and Burt just isnt The Hog! Flash the dog is under used also. Knoxville and Sean are fine as the Duke boys and provide some laughs. Willie Nelson is given some of the worst lines in the movie. While the idea of Willie as Uncle Jessie sounds good the result isnt. Jessica Simpson whom I thought was a bad casting choice actually turned out to be right on. Her body was the second big star of the movie....the main star and the only reason I didnt rate this bad is the General Lee. The car scenes were so fun I wished the entire movie had just been one big road chase. Save this for a rental and skip it all together if your a die hard tv show fan.

This movie was awful - save yourself some money and don't see it. The acting was horrible except for the veterans Willie & Burt. Jessica Simpson was a bad choice for the role of Daisy. Jessica Alba would've been a much better choice and she's obviously a much better actress.

This movie was fun from beggining to end. Jessica Simpson was stunning! And Sean And Johnny were great! It made me laugh a bunch of times and the car stunts were great! And stay into the credits at the end of the movie, It shows all the bloopers and stuff from the movie!
