Jason Statham is the new cooler James Bond. I really wanted to rate this higher because his Frank Martin character is one of the best action heros to come along in sometime. The problem here is the action is slightly over the top which wouldnt have been a problem if those over the top scenes had better special effects. A little bit of over the top action can be good but at least spend the money on some better CGI so it doesnt pull you out of the action sequence. Im a huge fan of the first one and I had heard from alot of people this one was better. I didnt like it better but it was great to see The Transporter back in action. The driving scenes were great once again and on par with the first one or better. The plot this time was okay but seemed more like a plot to a tv movie or cop show. The fighting scenes are fun to watch and exciting. One evil female character is one hot tuff killing machine. If your a fan of the first one you'll at least find enjoyment out of the character of Frank Martin. Turn your brain off and you'll have a good time. If it wasnt for bad special effects through out the movie Id give it a 4 star review for a mindless action party time.
