Jennifer Connelly's last hurrah. Too bad she stopped eating after this movie. What a shame and a waste of great beauty.

Excellent film with plenty of action and a very strong story line. It will leave you wondering why so many Africans starve to death and are killed due to corruption despite Africa being the richest continent. It all boils down to human greed and the FACT that money IS the route of all evil. Anyway both the main characters Leonardo and the African guy gave brilliant performances. I have always rated the African guy as an actor since watching Amistad

Powerful performances by both Leonardo DiCapri and Djimon Hounsou convey personal realism against a backdrop of action that involves many other characters, most of whom are only seen for a short snippet. The story is well scripted with enough twists to avoid being formulaic. The audience was a broad range of ages and all seemed to enjoy the film. Recommendation: see it in a theatre...the big screen adds to the film.
