WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE WANT?!?!? Dudes are idiots when it comes to movies. What kind of geek walks out in the middle of a movie because he doesn't want to spring freaking 9 bucks for him and his girl. WOW. THIS MOVIE WAS TOTALLY TRUE TO THE GENRE. It used music powerfully, for those who have an IQ larger than their shoe size the plot was good, it was definitely Miami Vice ported to the big screen. I wasn't even the biggest fan of the TV show, and cannot imagine how people actually sat through the original pilot--it was hokie compared to this movie. My only adjustment, if I had my way, would be to put Will Smith in the role of Tubbs, although Foxx was totally solid. I loved this film.

I loved this movie. I have been watching the original series so I would know what the theme of Miami Vice is, and this movie did not disapoint. All the care that was put into the series was also put into the movie, minus the hokey jive-talkin dialog. The cinamatography was spectacular, and the soundtrack is sure to be nominated for an academy award. If you were, or still are, a fan of Crocket and Tubbs, this is a must see!

This movie was the biggest let down of the summer!! I left halfway through it because it was almost 3 hours long and the plot was all over the place and it didnt keep my interest, no action after the first 10 minutes! Colin Farrell's acting however was great, Jamie Foxx is an idiot!!!! No emotion or expression.......his acting is pathetic! Anyways I wouldn't recommed this movie to anyone unless you need to catch up on some sleep. I even went on cheap night and I still feel ripped off!!! I don't care how the movie ended or what happened, WHAT A JOKE!!!!!

The acting is fair but the story made no sense what so ever. Disapointing movie that I thought was going to be very good seeing the trailers and commercials for it. And it stars Colin Farrell and Jami Foxx who are two very good actors and It's from Michael Mann director of Collateral a great film this is just disapointing.
