To be honest, I have seen a LOT of scary movies. This one had a funny storyline, plus great bad humor. Fun to rent and watch with friends and will keep you laughing. It all depends on your type of humor, but I could watch it again and again.

Movie wasnt very good. Kind of campy, a few laughs, definetly glad I saw it at the dollar theater. When you go to a dollar movie and people start walking out over half way through you know somethings wrong.

Overall, a really fun time at the movies, and an excellent heartfelt tribute to all those great 80's slime-o-rama flicks I loved as a kid, like John Carpenter's The Thing and Night of the Creeps. This is the most enjoyable horror movie I've seen so far in 2006 (Hills Have Eyes runs a close second), and it should've been a hit (if not for the excruciatingly mediocre Ice Age 2). Great makeup effects, one or two new twists to a familiar story,the drool-worthy Elizabeth Banks, the hilarious Nathan Fillion, the legendary Michael Rooker (in one hell of a tough role), surprisingly good CGI, and side-splitting humor (literally); all this and more adds up to a good time. I will see it again.
