I went into the theatre expecting nothing and came out horrified. It was too long with such a little story. Barely any character development, I found that I could feel very little for anyone in the movie. Too much repetition and very jerky flow. I cannot imagine someone seeing this as genius. The acting was... poor. Hugh Jackman could never bring tears to my eyes. Overall a waste of $8.50.

i went in to this movie expecting an epic classic, but what i got instead was a movie thqat had no flow to it. This movie was a snore feast. I visual effects were decent, but the characters had no sensible development. The movie bounced around so much that it lost any kind of flow. The only people i would recommend this movie to would be acid trippers, they might get into the effects.

hands down the most amazing and original film i have ever seen released in my life time. every corner of this film is perfect in every detail. the film runs like poetry with the narrative and visuals. its deeply profound, emotional, and thought provoking. the acting is superb with hugh jackman giving the performance of a life time that should have given him a nomination if not the award for best actor. he plays three variations of the same man and grounds them all beautifully. this is darron aronofsky's masterpiece. it is a crime that this film was not nominated for one oscar when anyone who has seen this film clearly can see that it deserved many.
