This movie was much, much better than I though it would be. Most love stories are so, predictiable however this one has some very endearing twists. In both countries, Kate Winslet is stellar in this moive, I think she is the finest actress in motion pictures, and Jack Black is so natural and fun to watch. The locations and homes are warm and friendly the movie just has a really good quality about it. The only thing I would have changed is casting Cameron Diaz, she and her character didn't fit. Her character didn't fit nor did the way she play it fit. She should stick to Charlies Angels there she fits, but this was a story about real people evoking real sympathy and she's just not that kind of an actress.
