The best movie I've seen in a long time. I have to go back to GLADIATOR back in 2000 that was this good. I've seen some great movies in SPIDERMAN 2, SUNSHINE, BLACK HAWK DOWN, V FOR VENDETTA, and THE BOURNE SUPREMACY, but they weren't excellent, and wouldn't come close to cracking my top 10 movies I've seen. I AM LEGEND does. It's a experience in film making. The story based of a book by the same name back in 1954. The movie is closely done to the book, which helps it. The story is great. Will Smith was extraordinary in this film, his best acting role yet. I think he deserves to be nominated for a Oscar for this role. The mode of this film was just excellent. This film isn't for everyone, people who can't enjoy movies, without loud explosions/music, and lots of violence. This is a intense movie, where the quiet scenes are just as important as the action scenes. The action is also great since it isn't over done like so many movies do now a days. It keeps you clued to you're seat waiting to see what happens next. Overall this is the best movie I've seen since GLADIATOR back in 2000 since I was truly emotionally drawn into a movie.

I took a chance with the previous bad reviews from this movie & watched it. I has never read the original book but kind of surprised it was written way back on 50's, pretty advanced for that era. Will Smith as he usually does spectacular acting, very touchy. Special effects & ending awesome. For those whom haven't seen it yet you won't be disappointed.
