Why in heavens name does Peter continue to take his mask off? The storyline to this movie is just atrocious and there is clearly too much CGI, I felt at times I was watching a video game. The best part was when Peter and Harry had their fight in Harry’s House. The Sandman Character had the personality of an eggplant; Venom was a skinny child whose ruse to set up Spiderman was laughable. This is a children’s movie, Harry Potter has more Adult content. Two thumbs down

i just watched the movie a second time to give it another try. its not as bad the second time around. it certainly has many problems and is definately not the best spiderman but i forgave alot of its short comings. they still didnt handle the sandman, venom, and especially the harry osborn storylines as well as they could have. still its entertaining and generally fun to watch. so i would probably now give the movie 3 out of 5 stars.
