A story that is unbelievably awful on film. Neither my wife nor I could have cared less about the characters. DeNiro is funny in his role, but totally wasted in this movie. My wife and I were ready to leave after the first 30-40 minutes, but we stayed because we couldn't believe that the movie could continue as badly as it started. We were wrong. A waste of time and money that left a bad taste in our mouths.

Charming, funny and keeps your attention. Wonderful setting of the period and creation of the magical worlds involved. Follows the book well for most of the time and then diverges to create a focused climax. The dead prince gallery provides comic relief. DeNiro and Pfeiffer with very good performances. Can't believe Michelle is 50! An entertaining movie.

An awesome movie with alot of originality. The cast flows well together and the score is great. It stands out from other fantasy movies because it captures the essence of fantasy, romance, comedy, and adventure, and mixes them together to make a fairy-tale story with meaningful themes that entertains both adults and teens alike. Great reviews haven't translated into any box office success, so do yourself a favor and go see this movie. Kudos to Neil Gaiman.

loved it loved it loved it a fun romantic and funny movie it is a little on the long side if you have kids younger then 8 I would say take your 10 year olds and up they will enjoy a little more but overall a fun movie even better for adults.
