A great rendition of the Sondheim Classic - Burton and Depp are the perfect team for this piece - and managing to cut a full hour from the stage musical without negatively impacting the black humour and power of the work. Depp's Oscar at last!

Johnny Depp has to be among the most versatile actors out there. This movie will be a instant classic, the way Tim Burton took a Broadway musical and turned it into a movie is amazing. Oh who knew that Johnny Depp could sing. Overall this movie ranks at the top of my list of must see movies.
