Comments:	I saw this movie because I wanted to watch all the Oscar contenders for best picture. It's not that great of a movie unless your gong-ho about gay rights. The acting is good. This movie really focuses on the Gay movement and how the Gay movement is an issue of human rights. Whatever- Far be it from Hollywood, to try and cultivate support for the Gay movement. Anyway, it was ok.

Comments:	This is a movie about the first gay politician in sf. The movie is palatable for straight audiences, a way for non-gays to learn about someone who is important to the gay community, one of our best. Harvey is a gay hero to many. I feel there is an Obama-esque quality about Harvey. Sean Penn plays Milk very well and the other actors are good in their roles. The story is as history has it.
