Though the plot is somewhat predictable, the overall movie is very enjoyable. mos def and queen latifah gave great performances and were often the comic relief of the movie. .

I love this movie. Watch it over and over. Acting, storyline, was great and brought back a lot of memories. i especially liked the way their relationship, her feelings, and the book she penned was intertwined with hip-hop. i would like to see a sequel, beginning with their wedding. .

This movie was more than good! writers and producers and whoever did good job! they all need recognition as well as the stars! this movie reminded me of how real hip hop is and was! i remember the times where rapping use to be cool! this movies theme was so cool to me, i liked the whole hip hope love theme. The music was so good, and comedy was over 100%. When did you first fall in love with hip hop?

I thought this movie was amazin. . The plot was good and it's tru hip-hop. . Its a classic! the actin was very good too. Its a definate see for all races and for both sexes! its a hott film!.
