Comments: Saw the DVD. VERY imaginative. A mix of sci-fi acton adventure with some historical tidbits and religion thrown in to weave a tale of the eternal lucha between good and evil. I read some books about the spear of Longinus years ago, which whet my appetite to buy/see this flick. Powerful "relics" DO exist, as does pure evil, even in this high tech material world, belief in ONLY what one can hold in their hands, click, plug in, win on eBay or evaluate in instant slanted polls. Splendid X-Files genre, mind boggling entertainment, even if you hate bugs!

Comments: Just okay, better than a sharp stick in your eye. If you are not into sci-fi, fantasy, comic book movies dont bother. The character was pretty cool and did interesting things but the bad guys and end time senario was just too strange and uninteresting. The characters doing something else might be something cool to see, but that movie was just okay.

Comments: This film wasn't as spectacular as I expected. The plot was great, interesting; but somewhere during the middle of the film it gets bore. If there is any sequel I hope the writer could develop the story better that in this one.

Comments: Don't know why this is getting so knocked by the critics. I thought it was very good, all around. I even liked Reeves in this movie and disagree with some reviewers that he can't play hard-boiled characters like this one. Weisz was good as usual. What really sets this film out from the others is the story. I liked the plot and screenplay for it's complexity and thoughtfulness. My wife doesn't usually like films like this, but she like this one, and we talked for a long time about the movie and its themes. Definitely not the worst comic-originating movie out there...

Comments: This is a movie that misses on all levels just enough to make it just okay. The mood and ideas are great. The acting is pretty much one note. The CGI effects was okay to not very good. The begining and end were fun to watch but the middle suffers from slow pacing when it should be building the story up. In the end It was a okay time at the movies. This is the kind of movie that when its over even though it wasnt that great you still want to see a sequal to see if they can get it right the second time around.
