Slow movie and sad. I am a chick and this is more of a downer movie than a love story. I ended up feeling very cheated at the end ...apparently the movie ended much differently than the book. I would save time by not experiencing either one.

Very slow paced,but well acted and very moving love story here.The movie was filmed here in SC so i was really glad to see our beautiful state portrayed in a postive manner for a change.Great chemistry between Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum.A chick flick for sure but very involving and a great cast pull it off nicely.Well worth the price of admission if your into sad love stories.
