The director needs to do additional research in national geographic channel. When a horse gets wounded in a 3000 mile race, it does not out run anything!.

It was ok. It could've been better if it was maybe 15-20 minutes shorter. The movie was sort of like a cross between a cowboy movie and black beauty. If you have add or believe that all bad guys in movies have to be space aliens or nazis then this movie might not be for you. .

Hidalgo is a very poor movie for many reasons: 1) there was no slaves in the arab lands in this time.
2) punishment for the fornicator is not the gelding. 3) there is no arabian woman wears the fall without her desire and she don’t have to cover her whole face just the hair. 4) the arabian men doesn’t act with their wives as an odalisque. 4) the arabian doesn’t act with the foreigners by that cruelty way but by greeting. 5) the arabians doesn’t submit to every accident that meets them by pretension of (destiny). 6). 7)……… 100).
when all this mistakes and apertures meet in one film we must say that it’s just a loser, chaffy & idiot film. And the most irony thing is the pretension that it’s based on a true a story. There’s no story it’s just a film made to impair to arabs and muslims.
even if we ignored all the mistakes and the bullsheat in this film. It’s a poor subject and its adventure and melodrama are not interesting and it’s very poring and so the music, effects, acting, directing, and in some scenes in the film the arabians were talking with themselves by arabic and then by english without existence of the cowboy. (i don’t understand the director’s point)
i just wanna say something for joel johnson (the director of this farce): you’re just a misguided, dissembler, counterfeiter and worthless man. And very poor, looser director.
