i went and saw it with my boyfriend at the time and we ended up leaving half way through the movie it was that boring and stupid...all i can say is thank goodness we had friends at the movie theater that got us free tickets!! waste of money!

This really had promise but it's political correct view of a violent time leaves thinking it is just another Braveheart/Gladiator imitator and not anything special.
It deserves a trip to the big screen to see it becuase there are some grand battles, but there was opportunity to deliver a much more powerful story that I feel the writer missed. Still good, not great.

Orlando Bloom does surprisingly well and so does his supporting cast. The movie is good and the morals are good and the ending was a good change but some questions were left unsolved. How does Bloom become a skilled sword fighter in five minutes? What happens to the jackass king? etc. The movie was different because it had you rooting for Bloom and the Muslims at the same time. It was the first movie to ever make Muslims seem like good people. Also, the king with leprosy was pretty cool. Edward Norton did a great job but that face thing creeped me out.
