did not know this was a book. The kid liked it, so did I. I would recommend steeling the kids copy, or buying the kid a copy if you need an excuse...dark but fun...better than harry potter!

the movie wasn't that funny, I only had a laugh or 5... But I think Jim is briljant (he deserves an oscar for eternal sunshine btw)... and the effects were very nice! A DVD I will own when it's out

Disgusting? hate? seriously folks, it is just a movie about a silly story concerning some kids. jim carrey did an excellent job and the kids were cute especially the youngest. it is mainly for little kids (gasp! what a shocker!) but adults will enjoy the humor. i personally liked the dark sets, very tim burton like. it wasn't wonderful by any means, but worth a gander. .

This movie was horrible. Nothinglike the book and jim carey as so annoying and stupid. they were in such a hurry to get the movie out that it was nothing like the book in the least. If i were the author of those books i would go and burn down ever were they f***ing shot the movie major dissapointment.
