Comments: Ben Affleck is an incredible two for two as a director. I was captivated by this film and thoroughly enjoyed it. I now understand all the comparisons to the movie “Heat”. It’s an intense film that keeps you on the edge of your seat, even in non action sequences. At times, you often wonder if it’s right to be rooting for Affleck’s character but even that aspect is addressed by a remarkably smart and crisp script. The cast is absolutely perfect and I honestly feel the film itself should receive some Oscar buzz.

Comments: Good story with good acting and well developed charecters. Was far better then "The Takers" but kind of lost it towards the end.But i still give it credit and i enjoyed it for the most part.Worth the matinee price.

Comments: The Town is a gritty drama set in Boston's Charlestown, known for producing more bank robbers than anywhere. Ben Affleck directs (his best so far), and gives the film an edgy look and feel throughout. Cudos to a uniformly excellent cast, particularly Pete Postlethwaite as a Irish gangster and Rebecca Hall, who comes to know Affleck's character as someone more than a tough kid from a working-class Boston neighbourhood. Recommended.
