Titanic -vs- The Phantom Menace
Welcome to the Titanic -vs- The Phantom Menace page. One of the questions on the minds of many movie fans this summer is if The Phantom Menace will Beat Titanic's Box Office Records. On this page I will keep track of the progress The Phantom Menace makes towards beating Titanic's Domestic Box Office Record of $600.8 Million Dollars. Below you will find two graphs. One graph will compare the weekend domestic box office gross of the two movies, by week of release. The second graph will compare the total domestic box office gross, by week or release.Hopefully this will give us all a better idea if or when The Phantom Menace gets the Box Office Record. Note: Only the first 26 weekends are shown (the number of weekends Titanic was among the top 10 movies in the US) * Note: since I only have access to the weekly final figures of the foreign BO figures for the phantom Menace, that part of the worldwide gross will only be updated once a week.
